The Feminine Complex est un groupe dans la pure tradition 60s à la destinée éclair. Originaire de Nashville, dans l'état du Tennessee, les gazelles se sont lancées dans la musique alors qu'elles n'étaient encore qu'au lycée. Malheureusement, elles ne sortent qu'un seul et unique album, Livin' Love, en 1969. La raison du split? La rentrée des classes, la même année. Comme quoi, les carrières, parfois, ça tient vraiment à rien. L'album à écouter ici en intégralité, parce que ce serait con de passer à côté :

I think that still, for the most part, even in 2010, the vast majority of museum shows and gallery shows and gallerists are pretty much dominated by men. So having a sense of what women are up to, for me, frankly, is very, very important.

I pushed myself hard and fought for having a life and career as a writer in a field that was blatantly (at first) dominated by men. You make sacrifices.
